As an editor for a day you will work alongside The Press editor-in-chief, Joanna Norris. You will start the day off at morning meetings with a team of editors, reporters and photographers. Participate in the commissioning of stories, hear the news before the rest of the region, discuss the stories and opinion pieces, help choose letters to the editor, and participate as the team selects and places stories and photographs by The Press journalists.

In 2015, the All Blacks made history as the first team to retain their title as world champions of the Rugby World Cup. Jerseys were marked with blood, sweat, tears and a few grass stains – and All Blacks coach, Steve Hansen, has generously donated one of the special rugby jerseys, from the team's back-up wardrobe, to the Cancer Society Ball auction, signed by the full All Blacks Rugby World Cup team.
